Sometimes you have an approximate idea of when you last worked on a file. When your file list is long, you can filter the files you want to see with the TaskTracker Filter date selection field by convenient time slices, including weeks, months, and quarters (for example, 3 to 6 months ago).
To open the TaskTracker Filter dialog, right-click on the File List and choose Filter Dates and Names or click Ctrl+F.
From the drop-down list, select the date range that you want to filter.
You can temporarily apply a date filter to all files (all types), without selecting all files, simply by selecting All Files.
Note: Select several types from the File Type window using the Ctrl or Shift key.
Saving Filters
To save a date filter so it remains active after closing the dialog, click Save. Saved filters persist till you remove the Save selection - even after restarting TaskTracker. Look for "[Filtered]" in the window caption.
Note: By default, virtual folders ignore date filters. You can change this behavior if you want to by right-clicking on the Virtual Folders window and unchecking Ignore Filters.
