Folders and files found on remote or removable disks (nonsystem files) can be viewed the same way as files found on your system, according to their file type, including available date and type information. For example, these could be files on a CD or a network node that is not currently available.
Disable this option by selecting Show Network Files as Type or Show Removable Files as Type from the File Type context menu. (To maintain performance, TaskTracker does not validate such folders and files. File type and date information are extracted from the available shortcuts and may not be accurate.)
